Our commitment to your privacy

Textorium is designed with privacy as a core principle. We believe your content is yours, and we have no interest in collecting, analyzing, or monetizing your data.

The Textorium app

The Textorium app collects zero data.

This website

textorium.app uses two third-party services for the marketing website:

These apply only to the marketing website. The Textorium app is unaffected — it runs entirely on your Mac and makes no network connections except those you initiate yourself.

What stays on your Mac

Textorium runs entirely on your Mac. Everything happens locally:

Network access

Textorium does not make any network connections for analytics, telemetry, or user tracking.

The app includes sandbox entitlements for network access only to support potential future features like:

All network access is initiated by you (the user) and relates directly to your content workflows.

Third-party services in the app

None. The Textorium app does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. (The marketing website uses Google Analytics, scoped above.)

macOS sandbox

Textorium runs in the macOS App Sandbox, which restricts what the app can access:

This is enforced by macOS, not just by our promise.

Children’s privacy

Textorium does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13. Since we collect no data at all, this is inherently compliant with COPPA.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change our data collection practices (which we have no plans to do), we will update this policy and the “Last updated” date above. We will never start collecting data without making that explicitly clear.

Summary

The Textorium app collects zero data. Your content stays on your Mac. The app has no analytics, no tracking, and no cloud services. This is a privacy-first app, by design. The marketing website (textorium.app) uses Google Analytics for traffic measurement; that’s the only data collection in the entire ecosystem.
